Try this holiday HIIT Circuit to burn off those Christmas cookies!


1 Minute Intervals / 10 Second Rest



1. Ice Skaters (Speed Skaters)

2. Snow Angels (Plank Jacks or Jumping Jacks)

3. Tree Trimmers (Squat + Press + Calf Raise)

4. Flying Sleighs (Supermans)

5. Snow Plows (Dive Bomber Push Ups)

6. Reindeer Runs (Pliyo Lunges)

7. Chimney Climbers (Mountain Climbers or Standing Oblique Crunch)

8. Tinsel Twists (Supine Bicycles)

9. Nutcrackers (Glute Bridge + Hip Abductors)

10. Elf Steps (Sumo Steps)

11. Jolly Jacks (Cross Legged Jacks)

12. Christmas Tree (Side Plank)


This is a body weight circuit, but there are a few variations to add resistance as well!

Try these modifications to add more of a strength training element to your circuit!

*Ice Skaters- pump two light weights as you move laterally.

*Tree Trimmers- Press two dumbbells overhead as you reach, or add a step (or hearth)

*Reindeer Runs- Hold two dumbbells as you lunge, and hammer curl as you knee drive.

*Chimney Climbers- Press two dumbbells overhead and lower to the side as you crunch.

*Nutcrackers- Hold one dumbbell over hips as you squeeze glutes.

*Elf Steps- Hold dumbbells at chest, or with straight arms between legs (Sumo Deadlift)


Complete 3-4 Rounds. Try alternating cardio/strength variations to keep heart rate up and build strength!
